Is this site just for experienced fighters and martial artists?  
No! Fighting Fitness programs are for anyone who has an interest in exploring fighting traditions through instruction, education or participation.  

So, will I see results right away?  
Of course you can. It depends on how hard You train with a trainer, what you eat and how often. Results usually begin to appear within the first few sessions  

Do I have to change my life, diet and give up all my good sinful foods? 
No you dont, but if you dont modify them the changes will be very slow  

Can I eat at a restaurant?  
Yes, but look at the size of your entry. If it can feed a small army, ask for a doggie bag at the beginning of you meal so you can put half away for tomorrows lunch  

What benefits will I receive from these types of programs? 
The benefits of any exercise program are far reaching. However, the Fighting Fitness's boxing, kickboxing and self defense program workouts stimulate the body and the mind! With resources available such as the Fighting fitness programs, it's never been easier to join the fun!  

What is a body science work out?  
It is where We use the negative weight that you dont want against the lean Muscle mass that you want to take the place of fat.  

Do I have to take private lessons to get this way? 
It depends on the individual. That is why we offer a variety of equipment, classes, semi-private and private sessions. If everyone was the same, everyone would go to Joes gym.  

Will you come to my house or office? 
If the client is home bound or can not make an appointment, we do make house calls. It is between the client and trainer on fees though.  

Can I have a friend come with me?
Yes and we actually encourage that so much that we usually will give you a free work out for your advertising us. Some times they sign up and you will end up with an additional free workout!  

Is this effective for self-defense?  
Very effective! The problem with some self-defense programs is that they don't teach you actual combat. Often times students are lulled into a false sense of security and when the time comes, they're unprepared. Fighting Fitness's boxing and kick boxing programs are designed for actual combat, whether that's your focus or not, it's nice to know you would be prepared for such an event... if you had to be.  

Do I have to pay for my first workout?  
We often give the first "mini" work out as a trial event. It is not too hard and if you dont like it there are no strings attached. If you do, and we know you will, then we talk.  

Are there any age requirements? 
No! Recreational boxing and kick boxing have never been more popular or more accessible to the public! It's not uncommon to see men, women and children of all ages participating in the lifelong benefits that the Fighting Fitness programs have to offer.  

I'm not very aggressive, will I have to fight in these programs?  
Never. What makes the Fighting Fitness's boxing and kick boxing fun is that everyone can go at their own pace. The emphasis is on fitness not fighting!  

I am interested in competitive fighting. Can Fighting Fitness help?  
Definitely!
It All starts with a simple call and visit to our Gym.

Before starting this or any other exercise program consult your physician.
    Make sure that they are aware of the intensity of the program, but also let them know that there is No
    contact! Doctors in general are not fond of head trauma, (neither are we!).

If you have any specific concerns (bad back, bum knee, etc) make sure to let us know. Often times
    there will be a safe way to work around any pre-existing injury.

3.
Always wrap your hands!
    Your hand is made up of an intricate network of bones, muscle and tendons.
    Hitting a bag or mitts unprotected is just asking for trouble! Like any other professional, protecting and
    taking care of your tools is critical!

4. Drink plenty of water!
    Basic guidelines call for at least 3 quarts of water a day.
    A full Boxing / Kickboxing workout will require more!
